Lung Nodule Classification and Detection Using SVM-CAD

For image improvement in early detection and therapy phases, image processing methods have recently been widely used in many medical disciplines, when identifying the anomaly problems in target images, the time element is important. Especially in cancerous tumours, such as lung, breast, and other types. The precision and clarity of the images serve as the study’s main pillars. The enhancement step is where image quality is evaluated and improved. Here, Gaussian rules and the Gabor filter are used as the only minimum pre-processing techniques. Following the segmentation guidelines results in a better area of the object of interest that provides the basic foundation for feature extraction. Based on fundamental traits, a normalcy study is carried out.
