Fresnel Lens (FL) Concentrated PVT (FL-PVT) Liquid Collector

In this chapter, the summary of instantaneous optical, thermal and an overall thermal efficiency of solar thermal (ST) and photo-voltaic thermal (PVT) system has been carried out for comparison. Further, a brief about Fresnel lens has also been discussed with its advantage over compound parabolic concentrator (CPC). Further, an integration of Fresnel lens (FL) with evacuated tubular collector (ETC), semi-transparent PV module (SPVT) and flexible opaque PVT-TEC collectors have been analyzed in terms of instantaneous optical, thermal and an overall thermal efficiency. For each case, examples have been given for easy understanding of system.
