Maize Kernels Endosperm Feature Extraction Based on Genetic Algorithm Image Enhancement

Maize kernels endosperm is an important part of maize and has a close relationship with the physical characteristics of maize kernels, nutritional status, and post-breeding of maize. It also has important reference value in maize genetic analysis and variety identification. Therefore, this paper presents the endosperm character extraction of maize kernels based on genetic algorithm image enhancement. The experimental results show that the enhancement effect of the image based on the genetic algorithm is better than that of histogram equalization, which is propitious to the extraction of endosperm characteristics of maize kernels.
