Research and Development of Automatic Leakage Inspection System for Gas Pipeline Based on Internet of Things Technology

According to the existing problems of data reading difficulty and falsification in the process of gas pipeline installation test, a novel automatic leakage inspection system for gas pipelines based on the Internet of Things technology is proposed. The system consists of a detection device, cloud, and client, which can automatically complete the automation process from data acquisition and processing to data visualization. By integrating the gas pressure sensor, gas temperature sensor, and atmospheric pressure sensor, the system can simultaneously detect three kinds of data so that accurate and efficient inspection can be achieved. During the inspection process, the client can view the visualized detection process data and obtain leakage warning information in real time. This paper also proposes an automatic anomaly assessment algorithm based on complexity to realize automatic assessment of the risk status of gas pipelines. The experiment results show that the proposed system can realize automatic leakage inspection. Besides, the proposed system can detect abnormal conditions in time, and the anti-interference ability is better than the traditional judgment method.
