Analysis of Urban Landscape Plants’ Configuration Based on Virtual Reality
摘要
In order to effectively improve the quality of urban landscaping projects, it is necessary to pay full attention to the allocation of garden vegetation and adhere to the principle of adapting to local conditions to carry out reasonable collocation and effective integration of garden plants, so as to promote them to form an organic whole. Nowadays, VR (virtual reality), as a comprehensive science and technology in the computer field, has been involved in many research and application fields and is recognized as an important development discipline in the twenty-first century and one of the important technologies that affect people’s lives. In this paper, the configuration analysis of urban landscaping plants based on VR is carried out. In this paper, firstly, the garden scene is modeled by 3DSMAX software, and the configuration, construction and simplification methods of plant models are emphatically studied. Then, the progressive mesh simplification algorithm is used as the generation method of continuous LOD (Levels of Detail) model, and the complexity of the scene is controlled by providing different LOD descriptions for the scene, which improves the rendering efficiency of the scene and the realism of the landscaping plant configuration. This not only achieves the high efficiency of display but also avoids redundant data. This method is particularly effective in the construction of large-scale scenes.
