Dynamic Response of Subway Track

Modern high-speed trains may cause noticeable dynamic response on the rail track, especially when train speeds exceed certain critical velocities. Moving track loads approaching critical velocities cause large rail deflections and can be damaging to track systems. Many different studies have been carried out in this field over the past several decades.
