摘要

In recent days, IoT-based applications are growing in popularity as they offer efficient solutions to many real-time problems. This article proposed his Internet of the Thinks-based electricity system will be monitoring the meter using an Android application. This is intended to reduce the manual effort to measure power units and make users worry about excessive power consumption. The sensor like optical and Arduino UNO were used to capture the electricity meter pulse. It reduces the error which is created by human and consumption of energy according to the cost, by using energy meter the consumption of energy and low-cost wireless system can work autonomously interpret unit meters will be implemented. It is a new field and IoT-based devices have revolutionized electronics and IT. The main purpose about this work is to rise an awareness of power consuming and save energy by using household appliances efficiently. Because of manual work, EB bill systems have major disadvantage. The system uses IoT to provide information on meter reading, power outages, and the warning systems to generate alarms when power consumption exceeds specified limits. This idea is being introduced in order to reduce human dependency in collecting metrics in monthly basis to reduce technically created issues in the billing process. The advantage of this system is that users could easily understand the daily energy consumption of household electrical equipment and control them, thereby contributing to energy saving. The Electricity Supply Department will provide consumers with information on billing amounts, payments, and details of pre-scheduled outages.
