Enhancement and Gray-Level Optimization of Low Light Images
摘要
The paper elaborates on the transformation needed to enhance the hazy and low light image. The low light hides the necessary details of the image and generates image frequencies in a darker band. Thus, transforming it in logarithmic scale drastically increases the white balance of the image, which gives the further need to refine the black region of the image which is performed by transforming the image with Laplacian model. These mathematical models are used consecutively to generate an optimal refined image.
