A Study on Significant Progress in Face Recognition and Its Related Techniques Toward Better Achievement for Various Applications

As time passes, there is significant enhancement in technologies. Since its inception of face recognition, lots of improvements have been reported by various researchers. In this chapter, a short description related to various technologies of face recognition is considered and finally based on feature selection and using deep learning techniques how face recognition enhances is elaborated. Lastly, various parameters of Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) are analyzed for enhancing the performance of face recognition system.
