Synthesis and Characterization of MWCNT Ink Using Gum Arabic

摘要

This study deals with the synthesis and characterization of Multi wall carbon nanotube Ink using Gum Arabic. The synthesized ink were characterized by Ultraviolet Visible spectroscopy (UV–Visible), Particle size analyzer, Zeta potential and Cyclic Voltammetry. The particle size distribution was confirmed in the range 500–1000 nm using particle size analyzer. The zeta potential measurement was found to be − 28.5 mV confirming good dispersion degree and stability of MWCNT Ink. The interaction between the molecules was confirmed by using UV–Visible spectroscopy. It has been observed that from UV–Visible spectroscopy that the maximum absorption was in the range ~ 217 to ~ 264 nm. The specific capacitance was calculated using Cyclic voltammetry found to be 407.96 F/g. The Energy density value was low when compared to power density.
