An Application and Mechanical Function of Nanomaterials in Science and Engineering
摘要
A challenging area of the study on nanotechnology is where cutting-edge innovations and technologies are developing. In the field of nanomaterial research, the three most prevalent study methods are syntheisis, characterization, and application. Materials such as nanomaterials, nanocomposites, nanodevices, etc. that have been synthesized or generated must first be described in order to fully understand the characteristics and variables affecting their behavior. Because there are so many different nanomaterials and characterization methods accessible, nanomaterials characterization is a broad and complicated subject of study. To use materials properly, one must always be aware of their morphology, spectroscopic, thermal, and mechanical qualities. The nanomaterial’s mechanical qualities are essential for applications such as electronic devices, sensors, composites, etc. In both industry and research, nanocomposites are used in a wide range of situations where mechanical strength is a fundamental requirement. The mechanical property investigation of various nanomaterials is a major topic in this chapter. This chapter covers network-structured materials made from nanoparticles, materials with nanodimensions, and properties of nanoparticles with inorganic and organic origins. The characteristics of materials change as they become smaller and become nanoparticles. The existence of novel optical, electrical, or mechanical properties in materials at the nanoscale is regularly reported. These characteristics are what have fueled the growing interest in the study of nanoparticles. This chapter aims to fully comprehend the behavior and characteristics of the nanoscale versions of materials in order to take advantage of them and create novel and practical applications. Nanomaterials will probably have more potential applications in the future. Material science and research on nanomaterials are very important for the advancement and applications of material science.
