Anaesthetic Management of Pheochromocytoma

A 45-year-old male with no prior medical history presented with complaints of episodic headaches, palpitations and a tremors. The symptoms often occurred after exercise. He is not on any medications and not abusing any drugs. On physical examination, he has an elevated blood pressure of 178/98 mm Hg, tachycardia of 126 beats per minute and a temperature of 98 °F. His investigations were suggestive of pheochromocytoma.
