Combination Tillage Implements
摘要
In combination tillage implements, two or more implements are attached to carry out tillage operations simultaneously to reduce the number of passes and for more utilization of power available from the source. Classification of combination tillage implements is discussed along with the estimation of the power requirement of these implements. Parameters required for performance evaluation of combination tillage implements are explained. The performance of different combination implements (moldboard plow-disk gang, cultivator-disk harrow, and rota-cultivator) developed at IIT Kharagpur are described along with their comparison with conventional tillage implements.
