Overview: Fugal Groups Covered by this Book
摘要
The groups covered by this book are all macrofungi that are “visible to the naked eye and can be picked up by the hand”. According to the fungal classification system of the Index Fungorum website, the groups include Pezizomycotina of Ascomycota (such as Peziza spp., Tuber spp., Morchella spp. and Cordyceps. spp.), Taphrinomycotina (such as Neolecta irregularis); Pucciniomycotina (such as Gymnosporangium spp.) of the Basidiomycota, Ustilaginomycotina (such as Ustilago spp.), Agaricomycotina (such as Agaricus spp., Boletus spp. and Ganoderma spp., etc.) in the Fungi. In addition, they include Mycetozoa (such as Physarum spp., Arcyria spp., Stemonitis spp.) of the Amoebozoa in the Protozoa. Among them, the subphylum Agaricomycotina is the most abundant, followed by the species of the subphylum Pezizomycotina, which are exactly what we usually refer to as mushrooms.
