Improved Sequential Convex Optimization for Mars Entry Trajectory Planning

In this chapter, the Mars entry dynamics with downrange angle as the independent variable is developed, and an improved sequential convex programming method is proposed to solve the Mars entry problem with free-final-time. Further, a pseudospectral sequential convex programming method is also proposed.
