Twenty Years of China’s Logistics Industry: Glorious Achievements, Successful Experiences, and a Bright Future

The year 2021 marks the 20th anniversary of China’s accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO). Twenty years on, the Chinese economy has developed rapidly, society has progressed comprehensively, and the country has thoroughly integrated with the world, achieving a win–win situation. Along with China’s economic development and opening up to the world, the country’s logistics industry has gone through a laborious process, from introducing and learning, progressing to accelerating and following, and finally coming to a point where it is leading with innovation. It has grown from small to large, from weak to strong and has eventually become an important force in the development of the global logistics industry. Looking forward, the Chinese logistics industry will accelerate its move from high-speed development to high-quality development, and China will transform from a logistics country to a logistics power.
