Flexural Behavior of Reinforced Beam Mixed with Copper Slag and Jute Fiber
摘要
The fundamental goal of this research was to determine the flexural strength of a simply supported rectangular RC beam with a copper slag and jute fiber when applied to two-point loads that were incrementally raised and uniformly applied in beam. This paper was investigated using replacement of fine aggregate on copper slag at different percentage. Each test specimen had a 200 × 250 mm cross section and a total length of 2000 mm, M80 grade concrete, and Fe500 steel. Each reinforced concrete beam has different mix percentage of copper slag and jute fiber (COPPER SLAG 20%, JUTE FIBER 0.5%), (COPPER SALG 30%, JUTE FIBER 1%), (COPPER SLAG 40%, JUTE FIBER 1.5%). The presence of copper slag as replacement of fine aggregates with achieve a high strength concrete as overall addition of jute fiber it increases a hardness, tensile strength the most important characteristics of the paper. Three experimental beam results were compared with conventional beam.
