Asymptotic Analysis to Viscoelastic Fluid Flow Over a Stretching Sheet

In this paper, a global asymptotic solution of the second-order, incompressible fluid flow due to stretching of a plane elastic surface is obtained using a simple direct method called Homotopy Renormalization Method (HTR). Comparisons of the asymptotic solutions, with those available in the literature and also with those obtained using the Homotopy Analysis Method (HAM) show that our explicit solutions are valid over the entire domain.
