In China, since the restoration of graduate education in 1978, Chinese graduate educationGraduate education has gone through arduous explorations and continual improvement. This chapter aims to provide an overall understanding of Chinese graduate education by reviewing its brief history, its development in quantity and qualityQuality as compared to other existing graduate education systems over the past decade, and the evolution of national policies and best practices concerning graduate educationGraduate education.
