Development of Tomographic Background-Oriented Schlieren Technique for 3D Density Measurement in Buoyant Plumes
摘要
This paper described the development of a tomographic background-oriented schlieren (TBOS)-based technique for three-dimensional density measurement in buoyant plumes using tomographic reconstruction. TBOS utilizes a tomographic algebraic reconstruction technique (ART) to calculate the three-dimensional density field of asymmetric, unsteady buoyant plumes. Background-oriented schlieren (BOS) data, to be used for TBOS, has been acquired at eight projection angles with the help of eight cameras.
