Capillary Leak Syndrome After Cardiac Surgery
摘要
Capillary leak syndrome (or: capillary leak, in short) typically develops in young patients who have undergone complex cardiac surgery, involving long periods of cardiopulmonary bypass or circulatory arrest, and who sustain periods of low cardiac output perioperatively. A similar clinical syndrome is seen in severe sepsis and other types of critical illness associated with systemic inflammatory responses.
