Postoperative Hemodynamic Assessment and Management in PCICU
摘要
Cardiac surgery in children has major effects on hemodynamics, blood pressure, and cardiac output. Assessment and support of hemodynamic status post-surgery is fundamental part of pediatric postoperative cardiac care. What are the invasive and non-invasive tools that can be used to assess the hemodynamic status of children undergoing cardiac surgery, how can we optimize the hemodynamics status during postoperative care, what are the medications used to optimize hemodynamic? These important questions are the subjects of this chapter addressing different aspects of hemodynamic assessment in critical pediatric cardiac patients and current management of children undergoing cardiac surgery to optimize cardiac function and maintain optimal hemodynamic status during postoperative care.
