Management of Postoperative Bleeding
摘要
Children undergoing pediatric cardiac surgery are at risk of having post-operative bleeding. Cardiopulmonary bypass requires anitcoagulation and leads to platelets consumption. Furthermore, redo surgical procedures and coagulopathy associated with hypothermia and severe cyanosis aggravate the incidence of bleeding and exacerbate blood loss after surgery. In general, we can classify bleeding after surgery in (1) surgical hemostasis abnormalities or (2) coagulopathy.
