Integrated Bridge System

Thanks to the development of computers, modern control, information processing, communication and navigation technology, based on integrated navigation systems combined with ARPA radar, electronic charts, AIS, autopilot and other navigation and ship control equipment, the current integrated bridge system (IBS) performs better functions such as comprehensive navigation, ship control, automatic collision avoidance, integrated information display, communication and navigation management control. It is an integrated system of maritime navigation, communication, radar, control and monitoring. This chapter briefly introduces the integrated bridge system and its related equipment.
