Development of a Payload-Dropping Quadcopter Using Landing Gears with Electronic Servo

摘要

Over the last few years, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) haveUnmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) been widely used for various purposes such as payload droppingPayload dropping, thermal imaging scanning, and spraying of agricultural pesticides. This report focuses on the designDesign of a multirotor UAVUnmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) with the primary objective of picking up and releasing a payload. The vehicle is a quadcopterQuadcopter/Drone and uses electronic servo motorsServo motors for the payload release mechanism, which is accomplished by the quadcopter's landing gearsLanding gear using a four-bar mechanism. This paper highlights the various possible technologies used to minimize human efforts in payload-dropping operations using quadcopters. The payload release mechanism demonstrates innovation in designDesign. The discussed system involves designing and building a simple and cost-effective prototype. The promising results of this method pave the way for future research on using quadcopters for product delivery.
