Perturbations in this delicate equilibrium can lead to dysbiosis, precipitating various skin ailments. Recognizing the therapeutic potential of synbiotics, this chapter delves into their role in preventing and treating a spectrum of skin disorders, including atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, acne, photoaging, and wound healing.
