Statistics

Statistics is a subject that provides a powerful framework to address and solve several real-world problems, especially where large numbers are involved. For this reason, this chapter was included so that in case students who have not had statistics course separately and readers who have a need to refresh their statistical knowledge have access to topics in this subject. Thus, the chapter contains topics such as mean, median, mode, sample and sample mean, estimation, maximum likelihood and interval estimation, in addition to hypothesis testing, analysis of variance and finally, linear regression.
