Prosthetic Rehabilitation of Mandibulectomy Defects

Surgical resection of mandible for tumor eradication impairs occlusion, reduces proprioception and can affect mandibular movements depending on the extent of resection. Soft or bony reconstruction is indicated to provide a stable arch to occlude with the maxillary arch restoring function, esthetics and good quality of life [1].
