The Development of Digital Economy

Under the dual impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and global economic downturn, digital economy in China displays great resilience. According to China Digital Economy Development Report 2022 released by China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT), in 2021, the scale of digital economy in China reached 45.5 trillion yuan, accounting for c. 40% of GDP.
