The Construction of Information Infrastructure

China attaches great importance to the construction of information infrastructure. In the 14th Five-Year Plan, it is clearly proposed to “build a high-speed, ubiquitous information infrastructure that integrates space and ground and features interconnection, security and efficiency, and enhance data perception, transmission, storage and computing capabilities”. Presently, China has built the largest 5G network in the world and become the first country in the world to construct SA (standalone) model-based 5G network. As the coverage of broadband network keeps rising, China builds the largest optical network in the world and upgrades gigabit optical network.
