MedChain: Blockchain-Based Healthcare Management System

This paper comprises a review of available literature and blockchain applicability in healthcare systems and proposes a model, which can be implemented to manage health ecology using blockchain technology for better and safer data management. Our proposed model amalgamates numerous medical workflows in a single network using a selective combination of the consensus algorithm. These will access and manage huge amounts of medical data effectively and securely. It will leverage the unique properties of blockchain and authenticated and accountable, immutable, and comprehensive solutions for patients and service providers.
