SISL Broadside Antennas

As an important class of antennas, the broadside antenna has been widely used because of the feature that the maximum radiation direction of broadside antennas is vertical to broadside antennas. Patch antennas and slot antennas are two basic categories of broadside antennas. In this chapter, we summarized currently representative substrate integrated suspended line broadside antennas, including SISL wideband antennas, SISL multi-band antennas, SISL gain-enhanced antennas and the SISL solar cell patch antenna.
