摘要

This study report the fabrication of pristine and Mn-doped ZnO nanoparticles (in the proportion 0% (pristine) and 4%) using biological (Phoenix dactylifera Pulp) route. Structural and dielectric analyses were carried out to understand their properties. The XRD analysis exhibited a crystalline hexagonal wurtzite structure. The crystallite sizes were found to be 23 and 21.9 nm for pristine and 4% Mn-doped ZnO, respectively. For pure and 4% Mn-doped ZnO, the dielectric constant exhibits a declining trend with an increase in frequency. The fact that conductivity results from the same mechanism of switching between metal ions explains this. Higher frequencies cause the hopping to lose its ability to keep up with the field's rapid fluctuation and start to diminish because of the chaotic dipolar distribution and random orientation. At lower frequencies, the hopping is in sync with the applied ac field.
