Structural, Dielectric and Electrocaloric Characteristics of the Barium-Modified Bismuth Sodium Strontium Titanate
摘要
The structural, dielectric and electrocaloric characteristics of Ba-modified bismuth sodium strontium titanate, i.e., (Bi0.35Na0.35)0.98Ba0.02Sr0.3TiO3 (BNBST) is reported. The BNBST was synthesized by the solid-state mixed oxide method. The wet mixed powder was calcined at 800 °C for 6 h and was used for crystal-phase confirmation. The powder was pelletized and sintered at 1250 °C for 2 h. X-ray diffraction confirmed the formation of a single-phase perovskite structure. The dielectric characteristics were investigated in the temperature range of 30 °C–350 °C at different frequencies (100 Hz–1 MHz). The electrocaloric investigations are also included.
