摘要

In recent times, polycarbazole (PCz) has attracted the scientists and researchers for its use in Flextronics industries due to its flexible and chemically stable nature. Herein, intension behind the incorporation of bismuth oxide (Bi2O3) in PCz to enhance its photoluminescence intensity. PCz/Bi2O3 nanocomposite was synthesized by using the oxidizing agent FeCl3 in presence of the carbazole monomer and Bi2O3 powder. Structural study was done by X-ray diffraction (XRD). Morphological and elemental analysis of as-synthesized PCz/Bi2O3 nanocomposite has been characterized by the Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FE-SEM) and Energy Dispersive X-ray spectroscope (EDX). PCz/Bi2O3 nanocomposite showed good photoluminescence intensity which suggested that it could be used as an efficient emissive layer material for optoelectronic devices.
