Lifting Attachments of Cranes

This chapter introduces the forms and structural characteristics of commonly used lifting attachments for port cranes, such as the hook, grab, container spreader, as well as the lifting beam with hook, hanger, and lifting magnet, and analyzes in detail the basic requirements for design calculations, inspection tests, and use inspections of various types of crane lifting attachments.
