On the basis of introducing the structural form, performance features, and application scope of bucket wheel ship unloaders, this chapter analyzes the structure, working principle, and performance characteristics of the main components of bucket wheel ship unloaders, such as the bucket wheel mechanism, vertical elevate mechanism, and spiral funnel; lists the technical performance parameters of typical products of bucket wheel ship unloaders; and provides the technical standards and specifications that should be followed or referenced for the design, manufacturing, transportation, installation, debugging, inspection, and acceptance of bucket wheel ship unloaders.
