Tumours and Tumour-Like Lesions of Synovium
摘要
Synovial tumours and tumour-like lesions comprise a variety of benign to aggressive lesions but often have non-specific clinical features The tenosynovial giant cell tumour and synovial chondromatosis are two uncommon benign diseases that are unique to the synovium. Synovial chondrosarcoma is an extremely rare entity. We review the pathological features, imaging and molecular characteristics of various synovial tumours and tumour-like lesions with their differential diagnosis emphasizing the findings that suggest a specific diagnosis including IHC and molecular markers.
