Innovations of Injection Metallurgy in EAF Steelmaking

In the above chapters, simulation and application of EAF steelmaking with submerged mixed injection were studied systematically. As we known, EAF steelmaking process demonstrates greater advantages than converter steelmaking process, with carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions of EAF steelmaking process being about 600–800 kg/t and that of converter steelmaking process being about 2000–3000 kg per ton (Toulouevski and Zinurov in Innovation in electric arc furnaces.
