Innovative Collaboration in Healthcare
摘要
The human activity system is currently at a major crossroads. While there is much debate about the causes of severe rains, floods, heat waves, wildfires, sea level rise, and other environmental issues, there is a rapidly growing consensus that human activities are destroying the global environment and the health of the planet. Human health is ultimately dependent on the Earth’s environment. It would be a profound tragedy if the human activity system were indeed damaging the very environmental system on which we depend. To address such a significant and complex issue, we must collaborate across disciplines, positions, cultures, and countries. As discussed in this chapter, various innovative collaborations have emerged in the healthcare field. The stance of this chapter is that a systemic perspective, which translates disciplines and practices in a multifaceted way, is necessary to accurately understand and effectively implement innovative collaborations.
