摘要

Cyber Physical Systems are composed of mainly three processes: Networking, Computation and Physical processes. Embedded computer system and networking system manage the control of the overall setup via feedback, allowing calculations to affect physical actions and vice versa. A wide-ranging spectrum of products and applications, such as industrial control system designs, water system frameworks, robotics systems and control, healthcare, autonomous vehicles, smart grid control systems, smart home automation systems, etc., have been made possible, thanks to the significant development of cyber physical systems (CPS). However, the internet's globalisation has resulted in several alarming new security dangers including cyberattacks. To reduce crime and boost the economy, Researchers have become fascinated in CPS security and production systems. It is crucial to recognise cyberattacks as a result. More effective methods are needed to provide improved security procedures for the vulnerable systems. The primary characteristics, technology, applications, and standards of CPS are covered in this chapter. The CPS's architecture, security flaws, and threats are assessed, and key challenges and measures are identified and explored. In addition to that, the security mechanisms now in place are illustrated and examined while highlighting its principal frontiers.
