Robotic-Assisted Pancreaticoduodenectomy

摘要

Robotic-assisted pancreaticoduodenectomy is a novel minimally invasive procedure for peri-ampullary lesions. It has advantages such as shorter hospital stay and faster recovery with similar surgical morbidities and mortality. This chapter went through the development of robotic pancreaticoduodenectomy (RPD), the advantages and disadvantages of robotic pancreatic surgery, shared our standardized procedure and experience of RPD, and reviewed various studies for evaluation of the safety and feasibility of RPD.
