The Application of Da Vinci Surgical Robot in the Treatment of Infectious Diseases of Biliary System

A female patient, 54 years old, was admitted to the hospital on Oct. 26, 2009, for repeated yellowing of the skin and sclera for 9 years. Medical history: in February 2001, the patient found no obvious cause of the jaundice and was diagnosed as hilar cholangiocarcinoma by several hospitals. And the patient was performed with PTC and implanted with a biliary metal stent to alleviate the jaundice; in July 2003, the patient presented with repeated chills, high fever and yellow staining of the skin and sclera and such symptoms occurred frequently.
