摘要

The emission of elastic waves caused by the Barkhausen effect, i.e., magnetoelastic acoustic emission, in ferromagnetism, occurs in local areas of the body and is caused by jump-like movements of domain walls under the influence of the external magnetic field. Studies of this effect are well-known in the literature. However, the obtained theoretical and experimental results do not include models of the interaction of the external magnetic field with the cracks presented in the ferromagnet. Therefore, they do not make it possible to relate material damage with such micro- or macro-defects to magnetoelastic acoustic emission (MAE) parameters. The research presented in this chapter is aimed at a partial solution to this problem.
