EM Algorithm and Its Extensions
摘要
This chapter first describes the EM algorithm, then discusses the convergence of the EM algorithm, then introduces an application of the EM algorithm—the learning of the Gaussian mixture model, and finally describes the extension of the EM algorithm—the GEM algorithm.
