The hotel industry takes a proactive approach to formulating plans and ways to broaden the range of employee interests within the current business and continuously deflect them from looking for a move. This is typically accomplished by demonstrating the possibility of career advancement in the current role and giving the impression that they have advanced within the company, increasing the likelihood of retention. The growing number of hotels creates a tremendous opportunity for the hospitality industry to develop and improve. Such individuals are harder to keep because a new opportunity constantly seems to appeal to the skilled and experienced worker who is looking to advance their career. As a result, the hotel must put in its best effort to develop internal attractions and, as a result, keep its talented staff. The hotel industry has to focus on various HR strategies on talent management. Better compensation packages, an environment that values its employees, a focus on staff training and development, insurance benefits, bonuses, and other initiatives could be some of the primary attractions that hotels have identified and put into place. Due to the unusual nature of the situation, hospitality organizations must consider a number of options in order to best retain their brilliant and trained workforce in order to sustain their operations going forward. Talented hotel staffs are crucial to the smooth operation of a hotel as they are responsible for providing customers with first-rate service. The hospitality industry is part of a larger enterprise known as the travel and tourism industry. The broad range of companies in the travel and tourism sector all share the same objective: to offer tourists the goods and services they require or want. In other words, hospitality is the business of making and retaining friends and fostering a climate of better understanding. It can be defined as a purposeful, organized, and persistent endeavor to build and maintain mutual understanding between an organization and the public. According to the Oxford Dictionary, hospitality is the act of receiving and amusing visitors, guests, or strangers with generosity and goodwill. The practice of assisting others in feeling comfortable, at ease, and enjoying themselves is known as hospitality. The Latin term Hospitalities is the source of the English word hospitality. The broad range of companies in the travel and tourism sector all share the same objective: to offer tourists the services they require or want. Transportation innovations made it possible for more people to travel greater distances at less cost which increased tourism around the world. From modest origins, the hospitality and tourist sectors grew to become two of the biggest in the world. It is nearly impossible to keep an employee who has made the decision to leave the company. As a result, it becomes crucial and clear to present a workable plan to stop an employee from making such a choice. Effective techniques for retaining talent through various rewards, whether they be personal or family-oriented, are essential. As a result, the hotel industry’s main demand to reduce employee attrition and boost retention is an efficient talent retention plan.
