Imaging in Oncology
摘要
A wide range of imaging modalities are available in the modern world, and it is important to choose wisely so that one can maximize the benefit to the patient at hand and use the resources optimally. Each imaging modality has its own pros and cons, and its role in oncology is based on what information is going to have incremental value in decision-making. In this chapter, we have identified the role of various modalities, including the radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures to the more advanced molecular techniques, and briefly introduced response evaluation in oncology.
