Sankhya Philosophy: Its Essence in Modern Education

One of the most well-known Vedic (Orthodox) philosophical systems and one of the earliest Indian philosophical systems is Sankhya. The Sankhya school of Hindu philosophy, which is described in the Mahabharata and the Upanishads, was founded by the illustrious, renowned philosopher Kapila. Regarding the etymological significance of Sankhya’s philosophy, there are various divergences. For instance, some opponents claim that the term “Sankhya” refers to perfect knowledge, while others claim that it refers to the calculation of the twenty-fifth principle. In a nutshell, the Sankhya dynasty prospered one after the other. The text “Samkhyakarika” describes how the great sage Kapila first passed on this knowledge to his pupil Asuri, who then passed it on to his disciple Pancasikha. the first preserved work of Hindu philosophy from the Sankhya school. Nevertheless, Sankhyakarika, About Sankhya knowledge, we can learn. We can observe right now how capitalist education contributes to societal decay and a lack of values. Therefore, the sole purpose of education should be to foster and express the human spirit. In achieving this educational objective, “Sankhya Philosophy” is essential in the growth of moral knowledge as well as practical knowledge. Overall, it can be claimed that Sankhya Philosophy aids individuals and society in leading lovely and ordered lives via the growth of the soul and the formation of values.
