Automated Irrigation and Lighting System for Monitoring House Plants

Internet of things have the ability to transfer data over a network that can monitor and control the electronic systems. This paper is discussed about how sensors and automating the irrigation system are used for monitoring crop field in agriculture in IoT-based smart system. The farmers can monitor the condition of any crop field with the help of IoT-based smart system which is very efficient when compared to the conventional approach. The IoT sensors used in the automated irrigation and lighting system can able to provide information of different parameters like light levels, pressure, humidity, and temperature. To monitor the IoT-based smart system, there are different types of sensors used like pressure sensors, temperature sensors, and soil moisture sensors. This IoT-based automated irrigation and lightning system is mainly designed for monitoring houseplants, and the soil moisture sensor plays a main role where it can maintain the overall health of the plant.
