Classification of Brain Tumors from MRI Images Utilizing a Convolutional Neural Network
摘要
The idea behind this work is to introduce a better method for automatic classification of brain tumors considering the MRI images as inputs using Convolutional Neural Network architecture (CNN). Considering benefits of deep learning, the proposed method extracts the features from available Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) datasets for analysis. This leads to accurate identification of tumor region distinguishing with non-tumor regions. The proposed method was also compared to the already available methods. This method contributes to medical image analysis supporting medical practitioners through accurate diagnosis of brain tumor for better patient outcomes.
